upcoming events :
Kriskindl Market
You’re invited to join us this Saturday the 14th from 4-8:30 pm for a festive Christmas marketplace on the farm.
There’ll be multiple vendors proffering their finest wares including pottery, baked goods, Christmas cards, dried flowers, ornaments, and more. Also, abundant veggies for holiday feasts and piping hot gluhwein served from a bar nestled under the bows of an illumined pine tree.
For the hale souls rising, the agenda also includes an earth sauna and cold plunge starting at 7 pm.
Day Before Thanksgiving Market
Folks who ordered turkeys will be picking up their birds. (order a turkey by Monday if you’d like to be among them!) There will also be an impressive array of vegetables, pies, rolls, honey, and other seasonal items, such as charming Thanksgiving stickers made by my daughter, available for purchase.
As well as a market, we consider this as an Autumn open house for the farm. You’re invited to bring along your friends and loved ones. There will be coffee, wine, and homemade snacks on hand.
Be prepared to revel in an old world community atmosphere while we collectively warm our spirits for Thanksgiving.
KRISKINDL MARKET
KRISKINDL MARKET at Rose Hill will be a wonderful immersion into Germany at Christmas time!
You’re invited to come and experience one of our greenhouses transformed into a festive Christmas market replete with veggies, crafts, candles, pottery, baked goods and other small gifts.
There will be steaming, delicious Gluhwein, a roaring fire, tasty cookies, carol singing, and a Christmas DJ spinning records. All to help kindle our spirits in preparation for or a deep and joyful celebration of Christmas.
Purchases can be made using cash or credit card. Cash is preferred so that purchases can be made directly from individual vendors.
Look forward to toasting the Spirit of the Season with you!
Pizza Terra Pop-Up
The Pizza Terra pop-up restaurant is a collaboration between Rose Hill Farm and Chef Adam Cobb.
Adam has a passion for the art of pizza making as well as working with the highest quality seasonal ingredients that his foodshed has to offer. He’ll be creating three different Napoli style, oven-fired pizzas topped with a wonderful combination of ingredients from the farm. For the kids, or kids at heart, there will also be cheese and pepperoni. The pizza kitchen will be open from 4-8:30pm.
We’ll also have freshly harvested salad and our newest product, maple ice snow cones! There will be a donation based bar serving wine, beer, and unique brews from Dave’s cellar as well.
The farm will be open from 4pm until after dark. At sundown we’ll project a Studio Ghibli movie on the side of the greenhouse.
Feel free to treat this as you would any restaurant and simply stop by to enjoy a pizza, or feel free to enjoy it as a day long celebration (starting at 4 that is). There will be some picnic tables set up under the cedars, but please consider bringing your own blankets or chairs and enjoying a picnic under the trees.
Finally, you are welcome to bring any other refreshments or snacks you may need (though exploring the farm’s offerings is highly encouraged).
Parking will be just 20 seconds down the road at the Mr. Label parking lot. Clean, crisp, dad-driven, mini-van shuttles will be waiting to transport you from city ordinaire to country extraordinaire.
Salute!
