The Pizza Terra pop-up restaurant is a collaboration between Rose Hill Farm and Chef Adam Cobb.
Adam has a passion for the art of pizza making as well as working with the highest quality seasonal ingredients that his foodshed has to offer. He’ll be creating three different Napoli style, oven-fired pizzas topped with a wonderful combination of ingredients from the farm. For the kids, or kids at heart, there will also be cheese and pepperoni. The pizza kitchen will be open from 4-8:30pm.
We’ll also have freshly harvested salad and our newest product, maple ice snow cones! There will be a donation based bar serving wine, beer, and unique brews from Dave’s cellar as well.
The farm will be open from 4pm until after dark. At sundown we’ll project a Studio Ghibli movie on the side of the greenhouse.
Feel free to treat this as you would any restaurant and simply stop by to enjoy a pizza, or feel free to enjoy it as a day long celebration (starting at 4 that is). There will be some picnic tables set up under the cedars, but please consider bringing your own blankets or chairs and enjoying a picnic under the trees.
Finally, you are welcome to bring any other refreshments or snacks you may need (though exploring the farm’s offerings is highly encouraged).
Parking will be just 20 seconds down the road at the Mr. Label parking lot. Clean, crisp, dad-driven, mini-van shuttles will be waiting to transport you from city ordinaire to country extraordinaire.
Salute!
This event is open to all people of good will.
